Hygiene competence tests 2010:

Test dates:
Tuesday 12.10.2010, at 15.00-16.00 (last registration date 28.9.2010)
Wednesday 1.12.2010, at 12.00-13.00 (last registration date 17.11.2010)

The course costs 100 e (including material) and the test 50 e (including a diploma), starting 9.1.2010. The invoice will be sent after the test to your billing address. The tests are held at Vaasa Vocational Institute, Tourism and Catering unit, Ruutikellarintie 4, 65100 Vaasa.

Participation in courses and tests requires registration in advance. A minimum of 10 persons is required for courses and tests. Remember to show your ID-card in the test.

Students at Vaasa Vocational Institute should also give their group code.

According to regulation by the Ministry of Social Affairs and Health everyone who works with foodstuffs must have hygiene competence. The regulation came into force 2002. More information on the subject can be found on Finnish Food Safety Authority’s website www.evira.fi/portal/en

Vaasa Vocational Institute organizes courses and tests regarding hygiene competence. The courses are intended for persons who work with food or in the foodstuffs industry and have gained basic knowledge through education or work experience.
